Benzonia Public Library celebrated 100 years in the historic Mills Community House with an open house on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Attendees enjoyed refreshments, displays, building tours and community story sharing. Books and pictures of the old Academy were on display for guests to enjoy.  Library staff and members of the Board Trustees were available to answer questions and talk about plans for the future and our custom wrapped Benzie Bus was here for patrons to view. We are proud to serve residents and visitors to Benzie County from this lovely historic structure and truly appreciate the Mills Community House for leasing this space to the Benzonia Public Library for the past 100 years.
