Ron Gianola, Local Artist
Benzonia Public Library is pleased to exhibit local artist, Ron Gianola's, stunning work. Ron is from Honor and is a patron of our library as well as a very talented artist. Ron's beautiful art displayed in the library is for sale, with 50% of any sales being donated directly to the library! If you have not been in, please stop by and admire Ron's work! We asked Ron what inspired his wonderful art; he replied with:
“Inspired by the beauty of our natural environment, I balance realism with abstraction. Rather than depict the specific, I work in a more personal technique using a harmony of forms from observed, created, and remembered sources in their own beautiful color universe. I paint with enough content that the mind and imagination are pleased and with enough literal image that the eye is also satisfied. Nature is the source, but the art is Nature seen through the artist's temperament or psyche. Hopefully, my art conveys a sense of balance and beauty.”
“I am gratified to exhibit my work in the strikingly renovated
Benzonia Public Library, and very happy with the look of the exhibition.”
