Megan Barnard: Working for You!
Megan grew up in Benzie County where she graduated from Benzie Central. After graduating from Alma College in 1996, she moved away for a short time before realizing that Benzie County is where she wanted to be. Megan has worked in compliance, billing and licensing for a few local companies and continues to do so.
Megan’s first experience with Benzonia Public Library and Mills Community House was as a student in Mrs. Johnson’s Co-op Nursery School, where she met many kids who are still friends today.
The community’s wellbeing is very important to Megan and her family. Megan’s husband, Jason is the Benzonia Township Supervisor and their daughter, Piper, is a student at Benzie Central High School.
Megan is a proud local and has always thought of the Benzonia Public Library as a place for learning and community. She is very proud of how the library and its programs have grown while holding on to its historic place in the community.
